In April 2024, we visited a large-scale farm near Thamesford, Ontario – a region known for its intensive crop production and high tractor workloads, especially during spring field preparation. On-site, we worked with a powerful six-wheeled John Deere tractor, engaged in spreading operations under tough conditions.
Our task was to evaluate the potential for software-based ECU parameter modifications aimed at increasing engine efficiency without compromising long-term reliability. Through accurate diagnostics, we identified opportunities to optimize fuel injection timing, turbo boost control, and engine response under load.
