Alberta, Late Fall 2025: John Deere RX Series and Bourgault Drill Prepped with ECU Boost
Reprogramming power for cold weather performance

John Deere RX and Bourgault drill ready for late-season work after ECU reprogramming
As snow starts to dust the ground in Alberta, fieldwork doesn’t stop – it only gets tougher. This powerful combo of a John Deere RX Series 4-track tractor and a Bourgault drill got a timely ECU upgrade just before winter truly sets in.
With cooler temps and heavier traction demands, we focused on maximizing torque and minimizing fuel waste. Our software-only reprogramming helps this rig start strong in cold conditions and pull steady through post-harvest soil work and early snow cover.
✅ What we did:
- Enhanced fuel injection mapping for better cold-start performance
- Improved throttle control under slipping conditions
- Increased low-end torque delivery
- Software-only and 100% reversible update
This green machine is now fully equipped to face the last wave of the farming season — snow, frost, and all.
